At the moment I'm at DHL office Luqa Malta, and I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing. I've been here for the last hour waiting for a document saying that I'm returning a package which yesterday I had to accept and sign cause the courier didn't want to take back. A package that I didn't want (wanted to refuse). He told that I had to come here at your office to refuse the package. Here the lady behind the desk first told me that I have to pay €48 to refuse the package after that I explained and showed the email from Sports Direct that they sent me the wrong item and that I had to refuse the package on delivery and they (Sports Direct) will refund me. She told that, that was the only way. After I call the Government Customer Authority and they told me that I have all the rights to refuse a package, she took the package and just left me here waiting for a document, showing my package return.
PS. More than 10 customers came in and she haven't tried to at least help one customer with a positive attitude.
For sure I will complain with Sports Direct for putt their great company and their great service in your hands.
PS. Im still here waiting for this document.
I had an invoice from DHL wanting payment for a package delivered in September, only problem was it the invoice came in December (4 Months after delivery). It also had me having an account I did not have or wanted as I pay any outstanding duty online and collect from the depot.
it is hard to speak to a non European call desk, Stating no duty as asked for delivery. when looking at the payment screen the waybill and account did not show as wanting payment.
A parcel was sent DHL from the UK to India 2 weeks ago and it has not arrived in Puttiparthy. We were in contact with DHL staff in Bangalore but they decided they would send the parcel from Bangalore to Hydrahbad instead of sending it to Puttiparthy. It is 2 hours travel from Puttiparthy to Bangalore but Puttiparthy to Hydrahbad is 12 hours, stay overnight in a hotel and then 12 hours back.
I have had enough of this with all the telephone calls.

Damaged goods......no response from DHL. CLAIM WAS MADE WITHIN TIME DEADLINE STIPULATED BY DHL. They Don't give a Damn.
DHL attempted to deliver on Monday 24th (no one in Mon-Fri 9-5pm as we are earning money to spend at Amazon)- so I arranged redelivery at alternative address over the Internet.
The parcel then sat at the distribution centre for two days (not sure why, neither were DHL).
Wed 26th evening I rang the call centre to see what was happening & rearrange delivery to alternative address.
Attempted delivery at original address on Thurs 27th, despite requesting delivery to alternative address on the Internet & call centre.
Phoned call centre Thurs 27th to rearrange delivery to alternative address for third time!
Attempted delivery at original address on Fri 28th for second time since requesting delivery to alternative address.
So that's three attempted deliveries, two after I've requested delivery to alternative address, three phone calls & one Internet redelivery attempts.
DHL now can only redeliver again to alternative address on Monday, but someone has now waited in at alternative address everyday this week!
I don't even trust them to redeliver to alternative address Mon to be honest.

I flew with an airline and when I arrived at my destination, my suitcase was missing .
This was no fault of the airline, which is why I haven't mentioned the name, but the fault of the airport that
I departed from .
I was told, at my destination, that my bag would be with me "on Tuesday" (I landed on a Sunday).
I still don't have it... And its been 8 days!
DHL have (and i quote the call center operator now) "forgotten to deliver" my bag.
I don't even know how this is possible !!!

This company needs to select its foreign partners better. Never use them to ship to Peru - Posted 14.09.2012Living in Peru, I'm used to inefficiency and bureaucracy. However, our experience so far with the customs service for parcels delivery is that you go to their office, they look at the contents of your parcel and if its at all reasonable, you pay no duty and pay something like 30p in storage charges and you walk off with your parcel in about 20 minutes.
Not so if you try to get something to you fast with DHL. There they have a system where a little (in fact not-so-little) mafia between the office personnel and the DHL customs personnel have set up a racket that ensures that they take as long as possible (read days and days) to get your parcel out and then they charge you the earth for storage charges. We met a woman who had been trying to get her headphones out of their deposit since June (now early September).
Unless you go to get your parcel out of customs yourself - you'll never get it (they just put the parcels where there is no one to get them out to the bottom of the pile. Even if you are there yourself, the DHL customs facility works 2 hours per day from 9-10AM and then from 2-3PM. On top of that, you have to do three different operations to get your parcel out - the first - putting yourself on the list, the second, having your parcel revised and then you have to go several blocks across one of the most dangerous areas of Lima's port to pay your money - before lining up again to get your parcel released. So far we've been in the process for 3 days (since we released the parcel from DHL doing their own customs release (it had become obvious that it was never going to get to us that way).
I expect this in Africa - and in some of the other Latin American countries - but it doesn't have to be this way in Peru - all it would take is for DHL to select responsible contractors to run their franchise here - not the low lifes they have here.
If you ever have a parcel to send to Peru - you'll be way way faster, and way way cheaper to use the regular postal service.

I have a complain about a DHL office at Savanna la mar, Westmoreland Jamaica. First to begin with the clerk was not knowledge of capacity in which she works. After waiting in line for about half hour because was dealing with Western union customers, when it was my turn I asked her she accepted credit card she told me yes. I then handed her my credit card along with my identification card she ran my credit card, which was approved. I then waited for another 10 minutes. When she told me that accept credit card for payment. I then asked her if she accept debit card, she told me yes, I handed her my card and she took same and ran it, she then as asked me to enter my pin which I did I looked at the machine and I saw approved only to be told minutes she converse with some that they don't accept debit card. I was then inconvenient, I that I had was to go and find a atm machine. I am really dissatisfied with the level of service offered by your company. Its first time using your service and I will never use it again, recommended anyone to your company and wife who is a good customer of yours will desist from using your company. Its really a poor representation of your company. Your competitors are more expensive but the truth is I get far better service.
